Why Us..
- Linden House offer short term and long term 24 hour care. We accept local authority funding.
- We offer placements for day care, these placements are limited, all care required plus meals and activities are included, 16 residents maximum occupancy including residential and day placements.
- Pets may be accommodated, however this depends on the residents needs and the pet, and this would be assessed prior to admission.
- A needs assessment is completed prior to admission, and an individual plan of care is written on admission and reviewed regularly.
- Traditional Home cooked meals, snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day.
- Special diets can be catered for, there are choices of menus and foods can be mashed or liquidised if required. Meals may be taken to residents rooms.
Our Values..
- Residents can plan their time as they wish and do as they would at home.
- Visits/outings can be arranged with staff where family & friends are unable to, this includes hospital & profession appointment
- Religious services are held and we welcome church visitors from other churches
- Family involvement is encouraged, visitors are welcome at any time, residents are able to go and visit family and friends. Overnight stays and breaks can be taken.
- An organ player/singer visits monthly, residents can join in with quizzes, board games, art, bingo, sing a long and more that are organised. The library lady visits the home regularly to bring books, mostly in large print.
- A telephone is situated in the small lounge which is free of charge for landlines and short mobile calls, telephone number may be requested on admission.
Trust Us..
- All machine washable laundry is done on the premises.
- The hairdresser visits weekly, the chiropodist visits every 6 weeks or so, residents can choose to use these services at an additional cost
- All staff are experienced and trained in caring for the elderly.
- If a residents health worsens and requires a higher degree of care, Linden House, wherever possible, will support this with plan of care. This will incorporate the advice and support from the GP, district nurses and the residents family.
